Our Goal Is Within Reach

boy and baby…but we still need your help!  We need  $1240 to meet our goal of $5000 to purchase the necessary medicines and medical supplies to perform our humanitarian medical mission in Kawit.  The need is great and without sufficient medicine and supplies, we will not be able to help as many children and adults as possible.  The mission, lead by the Paradise Valley Internation Medical Mission Inc., will have members from both Kawiteno associations, northern and southern, traveling and participating.  Although board and lodging will be provided by the hosting camp, each missionary is responsible for their own airfare.  The missionaires are sacrificing their time and money to carry out this humanitarian effort.  We can help by providing the funds necessary to provide the resources that can make a difference.   Mayor Tik Aguinaldo has pledge support as well as Dr. John Ceneca and his medical group.

We are making this final push and are asking for your monetary support to close this gap.  If you have not made a donation yet, please help us with this worthy cause to help our kababayan back home.  If you already made a donation, thank you.  Please ask your extended family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors,  if they could make a small donation.  Every little bit counts and 100% of any donation is tax deductible.  Please make checks payable to:  Paradise Valley International Medical Mission and mail to:  KSC Secretary, Joyce Ursua at 2702 Geiger Creek Court, Chula Vista, CA 91915.

Moreover, we need your prayers.  Please pray we are able to meet our financial goal and through this humanitarian mission, our missionaries are blessed with safe travel and able to provide comfort and mercy to all those in need.

It was another near-flawless performance from the Filipino-American Symphony Orchestra last Saturday night at the Rock Church in Point Loma.  I am certain all of our fellow Kawitenos who attended would atest to the professional quality of music produced.
